A welcome of sorts.
This isn’t a blog, it just looks cheap.
My name’s Freddy Syborn and I do a number of things, none of which involve web programming. I am new to the word ‘widget’ and I’m not sure I want to know much more about CSS, which wordpress.com breezily claim “is not very hard to learn” on the basis that “you already know a little HTML”. Their confidence is flattering but deeply misplaced.
The things I do do involve writing. I write plays that I stage. I co-write the BBC sitcom Bad Education. I’ve written an odd book, A Good Bullet, which was one of the Independent’s Books of the Year. This website is intended to list all the other things I’ve done already and the plays, books and shows that I’ll be doing in the future.
At best, this will be useful for some people and, at worst, only really upset any CSS pros who stumble unwittingly on this shoddy, shoddy website.
So there we are. I hope you can make it to a play. That’s a generalisation, obviously. You might be a monster. Though even monsters have bums to put on my seats.
PS: my new short film, Frenching the Bully, co-written & co-directed by Florence Keith-Roach
PPS: a trailer for Cockroaches, which I wrote for ITV2
